I got this wire to string between several posts to hang a 100' set of string lights from it. It installed OK and did the job but a few weeks later a several inch diameter rotten branch fell from a large tree onto the wire and lights and it unraveled and broke. Luckily it was less strong than the fairly thin/cheap electrical wire for the party lights so the electrical wire did not break. I managed to splice it together to fix it but if another branch falls and this happens again, I will get a stronger wire that will hopefully hold better so the branch will bounce off or hang on the wire rather than breaking it.

Split this cable up into 12 strands in tension and they all seemed to hold up fine. I did have to re-tighten some of the cable clamps as they would loosen over time after striping the wire of the outer casing. Works well holding up simple led string lights.

Spool was broken and wire came loose; tried winding wire back in spool - what a mess..Update: Issue was resolved in a very short time thanks to great customer service. This product is as good as other comparable products I have used...would purchase again.

Looks like decent cable, but whether you measure diameter with/without black coating it’s not 3/32 inches diameter…closer to 1/16 inch diameter. Included photo comparison between this cable and one that is actually 3/32 inch diameter. Maybe I was sent wrong one, but not happy with product.
