Rice in the big bag is a better deal than the smaller bags and we sometimes eat rice every night for weeks so it's good to have a lot on hand. This is the perfect storage solution to keep the rice from spilling or going bad when we don't eat as much.

Definitely this was not a product made by Good Grips. In its favor, it’s a nice functional design. Where it falls short is the plastic is pretty thin, not solid, you can actually make it flex. So I expect it to crack pretty easily. I am using it for dry cat food, it is functional, and a nice design, just a lower quality than if it had been Good Grips as I was led to believe in the description .

I don't know why I expected this to be bigger than it was, but it wasn't as big as I thought. Build quality seems good! Seems like a nice product, but I was hoping I could use it for cereal, instead it seems a bit undersized for that. Rice is pretty dense though -- so 5 lbs is probably spot on.

The pic show the product measures 9.4" with the cup attached on top so i thought it would fit in my cabinet. It is 9.4 without cup so it is too tall. I will still use them (I ordered 2 for cat and dog food).
