So, you get what you pay for, and these are hot garbage. They work well for a 240 lb man on a 355 lb motorcycle. I was able to dial in static sag with just a bit of preload on the spring (0.5"). The shocks technically do shock-like things, but not well. The rebound and damping is not adjustable, and they are HARD. Like, launch you out of your seat hard. They're passable for a nicely paved street, but as soon as the pavement gets bad or heaven forbid a dirt road presents itself, all bets are off.I knew this going in, I've had shocks like these before. But... these are worse somehow. Big bumps really upset the rear suspension and it feels rough and unyielding, even though sag is set correctly. They're not bottoming either, the rebound & damping is the problem. That said, I needed to see if I wanted to go with a 1" lift or a 1.5" lift, without spending $600 on a shock that might end up being too short. For $45, these shocks suited that purpose.
