Stupid place to put the sensor!! It slides in easily and connected exactly. Getting the bolt back in is another story.

Had a crank shaft sensor code in 2012 Kia Sedona. Van would shut off suddenly, wouldn't start properly. Took a while before it threw a trouble code. Got this instead of part from auto parts store, immediately fixed the problem. I was weary getting parts off Amazon, this part, so far, is good.

This item resolved my KIA Sorento crankshaft position sensor fault code. It was easy to replace the defective unit. I had first replaced the original failed sensor with a different new sensor that was listed for my 2012 KIA Sorento SX V6. It fit perfect but for some reason the new sensor did not work at all. Diagnostics still indicated that the sensor was bad so I ordered this Mortisen sensor. It looked a little different than the OEM but it fit well. After the easy installation (I had to remove the battery and one bolt) the vehicle instantly started and the fault code was gone. It has been about a week and all is well. Time will tell if this is a good long term fix.

Had an issue with my car stalling after running for about 10 minutes. Car would start again, how ever tach and mpgs wouln't work. Also mad egine light come on.This part has fixed issue. It really not hard to do. Remove battery and air filter. I used an 10mm open end wrench. Easier for me any way.If it has an issue. I'll update.

It worked for my 2013 3.8 Automatic Genesis coupe Grand touring...it's April 25th 2024 and I haven't had a single issue so it's still working flawlessly through a couple winters and summers
