This connecter is intended for use with a airsoft gun, not RC batteries. I you want to use it for RC the wires in the Tamiya connector need to be switched around. They're plenty of YouTube videos to show you how and it only takes a couple of seconds to do it.

I use these with all my AEG’s. It can handle 11.1v Lipo’s and 7.4v Lipos.
