The hook and loop surface separated from the pad from rat time out. This brings into question the entire effect was of the system.

Product is advertised for stone, but I'm having reasonable results sanding a tempered glass storm door window, even though it's a very labor intensive project.

The pads woek very well.The backer pad delaminated (Velcro separated from the backer pad) and stopped our project instantly.I'm going to try to contact the seller and see if they can send a new backer pad.Note: the backer pad fits well on a regular grinder or adjustable speed grinder 5/8"-11 (thread).
