This is my second set of the speakers.I have four of them installed on a 21 foot boat.The same ones lasted three years before they deteriorated due to Florida’s heat.I feel the sound is really good and wouldn’t really expect any speakers to last longer than 3 yrs in direct sunlight and heat in Florida.

Not bad. The quality matches the price. Wouldn’t be a bad buy for a smaller boat but anything over 18ft with a decent motor and you might want to spend another $50 and go with something a little more capable.

I haven't installed them yet, so I can't comment on the sound quality. But the build quality looks pretty impressive. They have beefy die-cast baskets with recessed connections. And the grills seem pretty tough.That brings me to my biggest disappointment, the grills. I'm not happy about the fact that you can't remove the grills. The tweeter is attached to the grills, so you have to use them, which means you have to surface mount them as well.I was told (not by this seller) that the grills could be removed. That is not the case. So now I need to reconsider my entire plan for using these because I planned on recess mounting one pair, and painting the grills on the other.
