Some automotive belts are known as stretch belts because in order to remove or apply the belt you must stretch force the belt onto the pulley. This tool is placed under the belt to allow you to be able to rotate and stretch the belt to go over the last pulley. The tool works but I am cautious as to the durability of the nylon material.

The material seems slightly soft, and having just installed a stretch belt, I can say that this could be an issue. My belt went on using a number of zip ties, and a slew of swears. Fortunately for me, my other vehicle also has spawn of satan known as a stretch belt, so I’ll be putting these guys to use for real life.

Plastic is just not strong enough, do yourself a favor and buy it in aluminum, plastic does not hold up.
