The dimensions of the item is not precise. The end of the shaft diameter is slightly bigger than the bearing. Need some work to fit it.

The description stated that this gear is suitable for a BMW 745Li (E65). However, it is actually 6 mm longer.

For an '06 E66. Lots of DIY web resources to follow, minimal tools needed. The OE nylon gear finally broke, although I don't use the park brake usually. I was using Autopark when it failed, again a feature I rarely use. Seems to be working fine, although I don't want to cycle it a bunch as there's a 2nd nylon gear below what I replaced that looks like it could be a problem eventually. I cleared the fault with my Autel AP200, not sure if it would have cleared on its own.

Fixed my problem perfectly. BMW should have these installed instead of the plastic ones.
