This works as intended. Since these are female 42mm threads, doesn't that make this a F42-F42 adapter and NOT a M42-M42?

This did exactly what I needed. The zwo 2600mc camera has a 42mm female connection and I needed it to be male, this adapter did the trick. Good value and just over a week to get it.
