Easy installation and works perfectly. Highly recommend for sagging small gates.

Have a very heavy pressure treated gate, 56” wide, 72” tall. Hinge system I installed said this was at upper end of acceptable for the hinge kit. In reality, the 4” pressure treated support post was flexing, 4’ in ground with concrete. The wheel was last hope and works really well. Just installed it and looks good jut time will tell. Recommend.

The spring mechanism stopped functioning properly after only a couple of weeks of getting. It kept getting stuck in the air and stopped supporting my gate. Poor quality for the price!

These are very heavy duty and support a big gate easily.

Got this for the other gate on our common area that opens for everyone to be able to walk the path inside an area. The gate door drags along the asphalt walkway. Because of this the bottom of the boards not only get destroyed but it puts a ton of strain on the hinges because you now have to "lift" up on the gate and pull... so now the hinges are all loose which compounds the problem and as people continue to do this the gate gets in worse shape..This wheel has a pretty robust mounting system. Zero issues installing this and there is quite a bit of spring to the wheel as it glides over the asphalt now. I think what is ideal is to make sure you have enough travel for the spring. You do not want to mount this up too high so that when there is a dip or divet on the ground the spring doesn't push the wheel down. Otherwise the wheel would be floating in the air..What I did was put the mount initially where I thought it would go on the gate door. Then I added about 1" and installed it 1" lower than I initially had it. That way when it goes over the bumps and the divet that is on the ground the spring forces the wheel down and it still has room for play/travel. But most of all it actuall supports the gate door now much better.I took one star off because it comes with two caps to cover the nuts that hold the wheel on. They are cheap plastic and can easily be knocked off. I suppose they probably help with keeping the elements out of that area but ours kept falling off... Probably a dab of silicone would keep them in place but otherwise if it's hot or cold they fall off with ease.
