The main body of this latch is advertised as 69.5mm in length (2.74 inches). The latch I received - looks exactly like the pic - measures almost 90mm (near 3.5 inches). I added one star (making it two) because it appears to be a really sturdy latch that will be perfect for some other application, and you can't beat the price. But I purchased this latch for a specific purpose, and I'm pretty irritated that the item won't fit because it is no where near the size it was supposed to be.

These worked really well as closures for a mixer case, after substituting larger strike plates that support right angle mounting.The provided strike plates are very light weight and will not suffice in many circumstances. Still this combo was good value and produced a solid solution.

Bought these to replace the failing latches on a Gator case. These were larger and feel like higher quality than the OEM ones that came on the case. Easy to install and I doubt I’ll be replacing these any time soon!
