In the picture, we see sticks around 8-10mm thin... those I received were like 5-6mm

These are simple, small percussion mallets that are great for smaller things such as a steel-tongue drum or a small xylophone. They are light and easy to use with a firm rubber ball at the end. At about 6" long, they are a little short, but they work just as well.

My kids keep losing or breaking the rubber mallets that go with their various percussion instruments. I don’t know why I thought these would actually be for real percussion mallets, but they are basically wood chopsticks with rubber heads. I give them about 2 months before my most enthusiastic percussionist whacks the heads clean off.
