As a UV filter I give it 5 stars for the hobbyist. I bought it expecting that (from the image) it had a threaded collar holding the filter in the ring. It does not. I wanted to remove the UV filter and install a "sun" filter in preparation for the upcoming eclipse. Will have to figure out something different

This filter is great. It enhances the pictures immensely. This comes in handy when taking pictures outdoors on shiny days. I highly recommend this particular filter.
