  • 【ASPM Technology】BME280 is a small package and low-power digital composite sensor of Advanced Porous SiliconMembrane technology, which can measure ambient temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure.
  • 【Sensor Features】The humidity sensor has fast wake up and response time, high precision and wide temperature operating range; The pressure sensing element is a piezoresistive low noise, high precision and high resolution absolute atmospheric pressure sensing element. The temperature sensing element has the characteristics of low noise and high resolution, and the temperature value can be self-corrected by temperature compensation for humidity and air pressure.
  • 【Range & Accuracy & Resolution】Temperature measurement range :0℃~65℃ Temperature measurement error :±0.5℃ MAX±1℃; Resolution 0.1℃ Relative humidity measurement range :0%~100% Humidity response time: greater than 1s relative humidity measurement error :±2%; Humidity lag :±1%; Resolution 0.8% Pressure measurement range :300~1100hPa(HPa) Pressure measurement error :±1hPa resolution 0.18Pa.
  • 【Usage Instruction】The module determines the device address through SD0 pin in 12C mode. The SDO GND low-level slave address is 1110110(0x76), and the default of this module is 0x76. High level slave address 1110111(0x77).
  • 【Applications】Humidity sensors and air pressure sensors can be independently enabled/disabled by configuring the sample rate register, the sample rate of the sensor can be set, ideal for mobile devices with limited space, such as smart phones, tablets, smart watches and wearables, weather forecasts, vertical speed indicators, flight control devices, indoor and outdoor navigation, smart home devices.

Description:ME-BME280 is a Breakout Board featuring a Temperature, Humidity & Pressure Sensor. The board has selectable I2C address jumper (solder link GS2), I2C pull-up resistors, 7 pin header 2.54mm, and two mounting holes 3.5mm.Default setting of the board; single power rail Vdd=Vdd_IO (solder link GS1), pull-ups resistors (R2, R3) 10k, protocol selector resistor 0ohm (R1), decoupling capacitors 0.1uF on both power supply pins Vdd & Vdd_IO.If you connect board to both power rails VDD_IO 1.8V and VDD 3.3V be sure to remove the power rail jumper GS1.BME280 Features:- Package 2.5 mm x 2.5 mm x 0.93 mm metal lid LGA- Digital interface I2C (up to 3.4 MHz) and SPI (3 and 4 wire, up to 10 MHz)- Supply voltage VDD main supply voltage range: 1.71 V to 3.6 V VDDIO interface voltage range: 1.2 V to 3.6 V- Current consumption 1.8 uA @ 1 Hz humidity and temperature 2.8 uA @ 1 Hz pressure and temperature 3.6 uA @ 1 Hz humidity, pressure and temperature 0.1 uA in sleep mode- Operating range -40+85 C, 0100 % rel. humidity, 3001100 hPa- Humidity sensor and pressure sensor can be independently enabled/disabledThis sensor is great for all sorts of weather sensing and can even be used in both I2C and SPI.This precision sensor is the best low-cost, precision sensing solution for measuring barometric pressure with 1 hPa absolute accuraccy, and temperature with 1.0C accuracy. Because pressure changes with altitude, and the pressure measurements are so good, you can also use it as an altimeter with 1 meter accuracy.Package included:5pcs GY-BME280-3.3 High Precision Atmospheric Pressure Sensor Altimeter Temperature Humidity Sensor Module

I bought some BMP280 boards by mistake, and really wanted the humidity measurement provided by the BME280. So I bought some of those. You can't tell these apart from those. They look identical. You have to hook them up and read the ID if you're confused. If you have both boards- make sure you mark them!!!

I use these with an ESP32 and ESPHome/Home Assistant to monitor various areas around the house, and they work great! Setup was easy, and I even 3D printed a case to house them. I’ve never had any issues—these sensors update quickly and are very precise. Highly recommend for anyone looking for accurate environmental monitoring!

I ordered 5 of these back in September, I went through 3 of them and could not get them to work using either I2C or SPI. Just on a hunch I decided to try 5v as the input voltage and I started getting data. The description clearly states these run on 3.3v but my experience conflicts with that. If yours don't seem to work then it's worth a try. With that sorted they work fine so 4 stars so far.

Basic temperature humidity pressure module that can interface as I2C or SPI. Works with Aidafruit and Arduino libraries. Nice postage-stamp module.
