Got myself a new office chair. I have my work desk set up in the corner of the living room. In the past, an office chair wheels scratched the hard wood floor badly. Recently bought a new office chair and I put these feet on instead. Work like a charm, it’s a good height and they don’t scratch it the floor.

Our vintage dining set had casters that were unable to be locked. After both my MIL and kids had multiple falls due to the chair wheels sliding, I decided to remove the casters. However, without the casters, the chairs sat too low at the table. This was a great option to give the chairs the stability and height they needed. They were easy to install (just pulled them into the original caster hole). They also come with felt pads, so the chairs slide easily and do not scratch the floors. My only complaint is that they only come in black. Our kitchen chairs are white, so I may try to paint them to match.

I have tried several different ways to make my Herman Miller Mirra 2 chair work for my home office. It's a very expensive chair that my work gave me when I started working from home. The original wheels sunk in the carpet and made it hard to move. I then bought wheels that claim they are good for carpet and look like roller blade wheels. NOPE. Stuck even deeper in my thick pile carpet! Then my hubby bought a very thick, clear rectangle of polycarbonate that he had specially cut at an industrial supply company and paid somewhere around $500. Now my chair rolled! And how! Apparently the floor slants a little! My chair kept rolling off the edge when I wanted it to be STILL. I tried putting those soft fluffy things on the wheels in an attempt to keep them still. Nope.Next I ordered some pretty metal slider casters - wide ones, because my chair is heavy! The listing only said IKEA chairs wouldn't work....well. I put them on and the chair high-centered! I didn't even think about the big hub in the middle of the chair! I measured and searched and finally found these. I was so afraid they wouldn't work, but they DO! So happy!

These are just perfect. Not having wheels doesn't even matter - these move fairly easily (theyre not wheels, but you're not stuck in one spot if you push a little). They don't move when you don't want them to, but do move easily when you try. That in my opinion is a fine balance that this company somehow achieved. Hats off to them. They also, obviously, don't mess my flooring up which is important. Wheels did and it was a problem. Have had these for 2 months, no issues at all, and i can't imagine that ever being the case.
