This is not what I thought is was. It's much more brittle and similar to the tan colored lino that is equally hard. I actually damaged my wrist with carving hard lino, and find that the best is actually from JACK RICHESON, the "Easy-to-Cut" variety. It holds your image (no flaking like the student grade version) and prints crisply, just as well as this other hard stuff, but without the pain!

I have heard that linoleum can be difficult to cut when it's cold. Well, my house is freezing right now but I haven't had any problems carving this block. Cuts smooth and easy and was a good price. I am a complete beginner though so I don't have anything to compare it too, and I haven't done any prints yet though.

These are great! I thought they'd be a bit bigger. But I measured them and they are the advertised size. They were individually wrapped too which was nice. Keeps them from marring each others surfaces during shipping. It came in a basic USPS plastic shipping bag which wasn't an issue for mine, but could be damaged easily if dropped.

OK but not extremely fascinated with its end product. I have to say the pink is best.

These cut pretty darn well, and print well, too! I had my reservations when ordering these, but they came undamaged and my cheap little set of linoleum carvers worked through this stuff well; not tough at all! Better yet, the prints I made look awesome!

I use these blocks to make T-shirt stamps. They are super-easy to work with. I heat mine up in front of a space heater for a few minutes to make the material a little softer to work with. The hardness of the finished product is ideal for printing!
