Water Filter Housing O-Ring Replacement
In the filter, the sealing ring is an important part connecting the filter head and the cartridge, which plays the role of sealing and fixing the cartridge.
It can seal the gap between the filter head and the cartridge to prevent impurities from entering the cartridge through the gap, and can effectively prevent moisture, dust, sand and other particles from entering the inside of the filter to keep the cartridge clean, thus prolonging its service life.
Frequent inspection and replacement of seals becomes an important step in filter maintenance.
Replacement of filter seals is also relatively simple, requiring only disassembly of the filter head, removal of the damaged seal, and installation of a new seal onto the filter head.

Not quite a 5, but almost. Only this puller with its unique jaw limiting 4M-0.75 cross screws allowed the handle on a Grohe Model 33755SD1 sink faucet to be removed. Its only short coming was the screw threads. They only existed on the last inch of the 2-3/8-inch-long screws. It was necessary to add five #6 flat washers under each nut to clamp the jaws firm so that the jacking screw could effect the pull on the half-unscrewed handle retaining screw. In short: An extra 1/2 inch of threads would earn this tool a clean 5.

Neat and simple design.....All parts are neatly made with smooth threading.It seems to be a very versatile puller setup.I keep this handy in my puller drawer in my tool cabinet..

Not sure where the 6" size comes into play. Maybe if you angle to their absolute maximum it might spread 6" wide. But for the most part I'm considering this a 3" puller. And it does work good for the smaller bearings and pulleys. The screw turns easily and has smooth threads.
