These sponges are okay, they came jam packed in a small paper box, most has already lost its shape. Not worth the price. Better off going to a store and getting some that’s perfect round sponge brushes.

These are the same brushed that I find in a 3 pack at the dollar store (well, no longer a dollar) at less than half the price when bought in bulk. Yes, they are not very rugged, but sometimes that is needed for the particular project that you are working on. I wouldn't put much pressure on them, or drag them like a traditional paint brush, but for dabbing type strokes I find them helpful. I used them in ceramics where I want to just dab highlights of glazes upon the surface of the clay. For me these work better than brushing on the glaze, to get the effect that I am after. I think there are many uses for these. I do clean mine out for reuse, but that too depends on what materials you are using with them, or how worn they get in the process.

I teach art workshops and currently one in printmaking. I was going to use these for my students to wipe away color from a print plate but the quality of the sponge is so poor that they have no body at all and just squish flat. You are better off using a finger and a tissue than spending money on these. Shame on the seller.

I like these painting sponges. They come in a box so they aren't all deformed like ones I've bought elsewhere. I"m not sure what is to be said about paint sponges that work well. I love that this pack comes with 5 different sizes. These are pretty great.

I am repainting my large armoire - spotted these and decided to order to see if the painting could go fasterImagine my surprise when I opened the box - these small ones are not even as long as a cigarette - there is nothing i can do with these. I tried one to see if I could paint around the hinges - the paint just gets soaked up and the foam gets all globby and drips like crazyPLEASE read the description very carefully before ordering - I dont even see how these could be used for art projects for kids

There are a lot of sponges here, in all different sizes. They're very versatile, and can be utilized in different ways for your craft projects. I don't expect to have to order any more for quite awhile. You can use them to paint with, or apply top coats. They can also absorb excess liquids in small or larger areas. Can add texture, too. I'm very happy with my order, and would recommend.
