Had a problem with the factory unit after I had to leave it plugged in, but in a bag because it didn't fit the shifter cog in the case, and it got water in it. But once I put this new motor on it fixed the issue! Very happy with it. Truck is an 06 mega cab cummins with electronic 4x4 shifter

Poor casting of gear that goes on the transfer case sline, not allowing it to go on properly. Upon receiving item it looked as of it was a prior return. Replacement part was purchased through advance auto parts, had no problemd with installation.
