Fit well on Tecumseh H60. Got motor running but could not get carburetor to stop spitting fuel out or venturi. Going on scrap heap and will rebuild original. only tried because it was $5. No luck with these things.

Its carb for older Tecumseh with an adjustable main jet. Seriously that adjustable main jet was so great on the older engines. Newer carbs with non adjustable jet you have to clean them to gnats eyebrow to just get engine to run at all let alone well. So... I put the effort into making adapters to use the old Tecumseh design carbs on newer engines. Works great on a particular modern Briggs lawnmower with that idiotic all plastic carb. Those clog if you look at them cross eyed. Course took making adapter to bolt it to engine, then had to adapt the air cleaner and the governor linkage. Not super easy but SO MUCH BETTER. Oh and since neither the carb nor the gas tank has a fuel shutoff, its really smart to splice one into the fuel line from the gas tank to the carb. AND USE IT, keeps the carb from gumming up setting long periods with gas in tank. I tried a plastic shutoff and it disintegrated, found an all metal one and Bobs my uncle.I have had more than one of these clones of old Tecumseh design and this one seems especially robust.
