My Husqvarna Snow Thrower started surging this winter, I determined it was probably due for a carb rebuild on the Tecumseh engine.As I searched Amazon for a rebuild kit, it quickly became apparent it would be easier to replace the carb - especially when I could buy a replacement carb for a few dollars more than the carb rebuild kit.If you are mechanically inclined and have some basic hand tools (screwdrivers, nut drivers) and access to YouTube, you can do this yourself and save a bunch of aggravation taking your unwieldy snow thrower to a repair shop.The kit also came with a new primer bulb and some fuel filters and gas line, I only used the primer bulb as mine was pretty hard from age, threw the rest of the stuff in the drawer as ballast.Reassembled, replaced the spark plug, and now the snow thrower runs very well. Problem solved!
