This is NOT a replacement for the 640112The 640112 has a straight fuel input barb, this one is 90 degrees and will not fit the factory fuel hoseThe 640112 has a larger style hole with a flange for the governor-throttle arm, this one has two tiny holes that will NOT fit the throttle arm of a real 640112The listing show some red knobsThere are NO red knobs in the packageYou do receive some 1/8" fuel line ???Useless as the carb uses 1/4" lineAll in all false and misleading information and a waste of time

Straight swap for the original carb on my MTD chipper/shredder and working well, only problem is the supplied fuel pipes are far to short to be of any use, so had to buy more pipe elsewhere.

Generator was surging causing all kinds of issues. Gave it a tuneup, cleaned carburetor, even drilled jet bigger. Nothing worked so I bought this new one. Great investment and fixed the problem. Before you would have to spray with ether and start that way. (And it still would surge). After instal, it now starts on the 2nd pull every time . It was 23 degrees this morning and it started on 2nd pull. Very impressed so far. I have used it 3 different times for a minimum of 1.5 hours each and it continues to run steady.
