It fits perfectly on the Makita router, easy to change. It has to set of holes to place at different heights.

Great, affordable quality. It's super easy to install and holds my Dewalt router very well. I do wish it had slightly more adjustability with the screws to be able to level the router better, but I took my time and ended up getting it pretty straight.

The quality of this spindle holder is pretty good. I bought it along with my CNC so when the time comes I can up grade the spindle for a hand held router which I own a few. And I’m glad I did cause they been selling out. Once I upgrade to a router I’ll post some pictures.I haven’t upgraded yet cause I’m still on a learning curve in learning the software for the CNC but I know I will. As a woodworker we are constantly upgrading. So don’t buy your CNC with out this attachment.I would like to add it would be nice if they make one just a little smaller that would fit my Ridgid palm router since is smaller than the Makita. Other than that is perfect

Eventually, I want to use a Makita 1.25 hp router with my Genmitsu 4040 Pro CNC. Before I purchase one I wanted to try a battery powered router I already have which shares the same housing diameter with the Makita (65mm). I was thoroughly impressed with the performance of the router, and the strength & stability of this spindle mount!What an improvement in cutting power and performance vs the anemic spindle that comes with the CNC! The spindle mount of course fits the machine perfectly, which is expected since it’s specifically designed for the 4040 Pro. It’s flawlessly machined and holds the router with amazing rock-solid stability, despite the increased weight of the router vs. the original spindle. Looking forward to getting the Makita when the time is right.
