I bought the 450 watt version, because I didn't need the bigger 800 watt motor since I have 6 inch and 8 inch machines.I received this today and put it to work. It hums along beautifully and did a fantastic job polishing stainless steel. It came with everything exactly as advertised except I received 3 brushes and not four. No big deal. Unless these brushes are soft and wear quickly, I don't see an issue. The speed is advertised as 0-10,000. I guess every machine starts at 0 and goes up to working speed...lolIt actually starts slow, not zero, and I'm guessing around 500-700 rpms. Again no big deal, because the slow speed is plenty slow enough for gentle intricate pieces. In truth, I ran it from around halfway 4,00-5,000rpms.....to 10,000 and it powered through everything. You can force and cause too much of a load on any machine, and although the motor bogged down occasionally, it was my fault for being a little too aggressive. It did not overheat or sputter.Super happy with this little gem. The potentiometer has a really nice "on" feel and slides smoothly to 10,000. It has a nice solid "off" feel and feels like a quality machine. The main on/off switch of nicely protected by a clear protective shroud to keep compound from fouling the switch. The motor seems nicely balanced and the wheels that came with this are of good quality. I used a buffing rake and they fluffed nicely.I am not the least bit disappointed in my choice, and am actually thrilled it performed so perfectly. I never heard of this company and was basically picking blind. I did look at their main webpage and they appear to produce other quality machinery.I also want to ad, that I am not paid or compensated in any way for this review. I'm an experienced hobbyist who works primarily with wood, metal and welding, knives and watches.
