ROCKER ARM

Rocker arms might seem like an insignificant engine part, but it’s very vital.

A rocker arm is a valvetrain component that typically transfers the motion of a pushrod to the corresponding intake/exhaust valve.

They help in lifting the valves for air to enter and leave the combustion chamber anytime. In other words, they help to transfer movement equivalently from the pushrods to the valves. Simply put, they are used in controlling engine valves and camshafts.

These are ideal for a stock 305 Chevy rebuild I’ve got coming up. I can’t speak to the metallurgy or exact ratio compared to the factory parts, but they appear identical and I think they’ll be fine for this mild build.
