I don't know if I was doing this wrong or what but I watched videos and followed instructions and these sticks just tended to bubble up and smoke rather than drip to fill in the areas I wanted to repair. I want to give the benefit of the doubt because I may have done something wrong in the process.

I have several skis and snowboards with different color bases. Except for an occasional professional base-grind, I mostly do my own base-repairs, edge-tuning, and waxing. These Ptex sticks can be used with a lighter or a soldering iron. The sandpaper is a nice bonus. You’ll also need a razor scraper to cut off excess P-tex. This is a good kit at a good price so I’m giving it 5-stars.
