Tried to use these on a fan motor. Way too noisy at medium and high speeds, and wouldn’t turn on low speed. May be fine for low speed, but did not have anything to try them on.

I got this bearing to spin in my hand for 5 minutes using a rollerblade wheel.

Seemed to be what was described - 7 bearing unit. I also bought a similar product to compare this one, which was the "VXB Brand Full Ceramic 608 Miniature Bearing 8x22x7 ID=8mm OD=22mm Width=7mm".Admittedly the VBX unit did spin smoother and longer (about 20% better) than this TRB one. But, this TRB unit is about 25% cheaper. All-in-all, seems like a good value for what you get.

Magnetic fields don't increase drag like all metal bearings.

This is an excellent upgrade for the default bearing in the Mezmoglobe. Runs quiet, and goes for a long time. Note: don't put any lubricant on it...that will reduce your spin times on the Mezmoglobe.

THIS, my friends, is why you take amateur product reviews with a grain of salt. In Feb 2018 I had given this a 1 star because it rattled and didn't seem to spin even as well as the original steel bearings in my fidget spinner. I'd set it aside, and tried it again here in Oct 2018. While there is a little bit of play and a rattle right after I flick it as hard as I can, now that I have a fidget spinner that's balanced and doesn't wobble, this bearing spins longer in my plastic spinner than my aluminum spinner with brass weights and hybrid ceramic r118 bearing.I sincerely apologize for my previous bad review. It was user error, not a fault of the product.
