This gun is not a Hitachi, and if you're expecting the durability that unit provides, beware. If you're planning on using moderately, works well. I wouldn't recommend for nailing plywood, it will require a service. I had to replace parts on this gun a couple of times. I used it to frame walls, and soffits. Good back up piece to have.

It’s a more affordable version of a hitachi framing gun.

I got this because I needed a framing nailer and it looked like essentially the same thing as your basic Hitachi nailer that probably anybody else who is a carpenter has seen on every jobsite ever. But I also wasn't willing to pay $300+ for one this time. When I got it, I quickly realized that this nailer has its own feel to it and is put together differently. But it works well. The construction seems solid. It has a good heft to it, but it's not too heavy. The slide for the nail bay was stiff at first, but I lubed it up with the enclosed gun oil really well and it's been fine ever since.
