It showed up pulled it out of box. It looked clean but the closer i looked at it. I noticed the plastic looked like it was sanded with fine grit sandpaper to make it look clean. I thought ok no big deal. Next, I tested by blowing air into the different ports to make sure it was not clogged. Sure enough it's got pressure as you blow threw the ports. It's not supposed to push air back as you release. Need to look for OEM or get lucky, seems a lot of people having this issue.

No much to say other than the product works as intended and cleared p0449 code. Cost and shipping were the best after looking at other sites. Simple enough to replace. Only issue was not with the solenoid but with existing hoses. The hose connecting thel charcoal canister to solenoid broke while disconnecting from old solenoid. I will eventually replace the charcoal canister as well because of the amount of trash and dirt that was accumulated in the old solenoid. If you can I would recommend purchasing both otherwise a bad canister could cause early failure in the new solenoid. I hope this helps you with your process.

My 07 chevy silverado wouldn't let me pump my gas without the pump shutting off premature before it was full. After about a 20 minute install (includes getting your tools out) I can pump the gas again without having to hold the nozzle anymore. Great product and works perfectly.

I was having a P0449 code on a 07-13 Sierra with the 6.0L. The molded plastic hoses were not great to work with in the cold, but with a hair dryer and some patience I got them pressed on and the code has not come back. Seems good over a few weeks, quality looks good.
