After 5 years and many OBCD tests later, this was the final and most expensive replacement part of the whole system. I won't disparage this product as I have no clue what the problem is.

I need it to get the canister and the vent valve for my 2004 Nissan Xterra. At the auto parts just the canister without the vent valve was double the price for the canister only. This canister with the valve is a great deal and it works well. If you have truck like mine 20 years or older don’t just replace the canister, replace the hoses because those are too old and most probably are crack too.
