Works great!A real difficult installation. contrary to most YouTube videos, I installed it easily from under my Jeep with a u-joint and a two-foot extension.

This product made my Jeep run worse, causing misfires & failed to start multiple times. Replaced this sensor with a NAPA brand & it works fine.

I couldn’t get a OEM MOPAR replacement crankshaft position sensor for my 2002 Jeep wrangler 4.0 automatic, even though they were running almost 200 dollars. I’ve read it’s highly recommended to use mopar sensors but they don’t make them anymore. This was my third try using various brands one of which was about 60 dollars with other two causing lots of codes and misfires when installed. Cleared the codes and put the this one in an immediately was better! It’s only day one so can’t tell ya how long it will last but I was starting to loose hope I could find one that would work.

I was having issues on my TJ causing random bucking, RPM fluctuating, long/hard starting and eventually just dying and would restart unless you let it sit for a few hours.I tried a Camshaft sensor first as it's easier to get to and can cause the same issues, but that didn't work so this was the culprit. It's tricky to replace but since I have a body lift on mine I was able to access it from the top of the engine bay on the drivers side. Has been working for a few months so time will tell how long the aftermarket sensor actually lasts vs the expensive Mopar alternative.
