How to Use

Hold the instrument, place the instrument steadily on the sample, apply sufficient pressure steadily and quickly, and read the maximum reading on the indicator, accurate to 0.5 scale. This reading is the Barcol hardness value of the sample. During the test, avoid or lateral sliding of the indenter, otherwise the indenter will be damaged.
For softer materials, the reading will gradually decrease after the test, so you should read quickly during the test, and try to read the largest reading observed.
