UPDATE: The company reached out to me based on the below review. They have issued a refund. For that I have changed the rating to 4 stars from my original 1 rating. They were very responsive and offered the refund due to the communications. Thank you!******Camera is mounted inside my garage. Without the booster antenna, I had a single bar and very unstable signal. Mounted the booster antenna outside the building with direct line of sight to the router (40ft away), the signal strength did not improve. the antenna was switched over to a second camera mounted on the same wall except outside, again the signal strength did not change.

I installed this unit on an EAP225-Outdoor. Initially planned a much higher installation out of reach but ended up needing to put the AP inside of a metal enclosure at the base of a pole. This antenna worked OK in this application but the outdoor range with clear line of sight was not quite as much as I would have expected (maybe 20-25' before things got noticeably bad on a laptop). For my needs this was fine as the wireless will only be used by technicians.

Appears to give me better signal mounted high up in the ceiling than a floor mounted PC antenna with magnet base. Uploads are maxed out but the download speed is only slightly faster than my other antenna. For 20 bucks it's a decent antenna, and the cord is very long, it worked perfectly for my application without needing a extension cable I just mounted it in the ceiling above my rig. My router is on the 5th floor and my computer is on the 3rd floor and this antenna gives me pretty strong signal to the 5th floor router.
