Didn’t even have to drop the entire arm. I’d be impressed if I have to ever replace the tool

Purchased to remove & install my trailing arm bushings. Should’ve took the advice to the review I read before I purchased. Agree that it looks good & price was fair. But soon as I started to use it to remove my first bushing it broke before I could even get started. It’s 3 piece, with no instructions on how to use it. Put it together using common sense. But should be a 1 piece like the higher dollar one is, & I wouldn't have to wait to install my bushings. Highly recommend not to purchase this cheap piece of junk.

This tool saved me a lot of time and trouble. I would have really struggled inserting the new bushings into the trailing arm without this. I was able to remove both bushings with hammer blows but inserting the new ones was so much easier this tool.

Good: the cups are exactly the right size for the job, the concept of this tool is solid, removal of bushings was made very easy.Bad: the arms aren't quite long enough to adjust the fingers outward enough to grab the trailing arm to press the new bushing straight in, the screw holding the install ring broke bc it's very short and didn't have enough threads.I bought this tool bc I wanted to replace my trailing arm bushings without bleeding the brakes or removing the parking brake cables. Either way I needed a cup big enough to remove and install them, so I figured I might as well get a tool designed specifically for the job. Removal was easy enough (the whole arm will have to be dropped to get to the bushing), but installation was awful. By far the hardest part of refreshing the suspension (everything else has already been replaced on this chassis). if I had to do this job again I'd probably remove the arm completely and use a hydraulic press, especially for installation. That being said, I did get the job done with this tool. I was using hard race replacement bushings- left in the freezer for a week and greased well, one side went in straight and the tool pulled it sightly crooked and it deformed but I was able to get it in straight with a lot of luck and force.

A solid C+ tool. It was physically able to remove one bushing. After the first use it was bent to the point where it didn't want to fit back in the case. That's not exactly a sign of longevity. If you're like me and plan on using it twice I think you will be ok. If you're looking for a lifetime of repeated use maybe not. 🤷🏻♂️ To me the hundred buck or whatever was worth not taking the rusted up emergency brake cables off.

Tool works great. I have used similar tools in past. Per it's specific application; it works great.HOWEVER, I am giving it a 2 star rating due to a production failure in regards to safety. The two " windows" on the cup are not beveled or rounded. To manipulate the tool, you will be holding this. I have never had to wear gloves using many other tools in this fashion AND there is NO literature stating a precaution. It cut my thumb open and fairly deep. I modified it myself but this oversight should be addressed.

Well designed for its purpose - not the easiest to try to use solo. Did a test run with it, trailing arms have to be off to use it. Two man job to make it easier - well packaged
