This Accsoon Power Cage II is designed to turn your iPad into a convenient location monitor when you combine it with Accsoon's Seemo, Seemo Pro or Nano.The all aluminum cage is relatively lightweight (weighing in at 2½ pounds) and is built like a tank. It fits Apple's iPad Gen 7, 8, 9, and 10, iPad Air 3, 4, and 5, iPad Pro 10.5" and 11" (Gen 1, 2, 3, and 4). What wasn't mentioned in the Amazon listing is that it also fits my older iPad Air 2.The cage is a very rugged, well made product, designed for professionals or anyone serious about their filmmaking.

This Accsoon PowerCage for iPad Mini 6/ Mini 7(A17 Pro), 8.3inch iPad Case with Sunhood fits as advertised. It has plenting of 1/4” holes on every side of the cage, access to the power and volume buttons. The 2 long edges of cage have 2 cold shoe mounts each. The power supply mounts nice on the back plate. Solid alloy and not that heavy (162 gms is about 5.7 oz, less than half a pound).Couple of cons. This does need a kickstand, especially if putting on the lens hood before it’s mounted on a tripod or where ever. Also adds to using the ipad when just using it as an ipad. The battery plate does need to be tightened down with the thumb screw (included), but it portrudes slightly beyond it’s “thumb screw” hole (see picture). Thus it could impede the battery fitting right. I have not tested this part yet.The magnet attachable lens hood is ok. It stretches to connect just fine. However, if you have had this kind of elastic in pants, you know it wares out over time. In the sun might hasten that process. They could have made an easier magnetic attached lens hood than this. Lastly, I might have prefered a cage that let me keep using my current iPad case rather than having to switch to their case and cage, but I knew that when I ordered this, so no stars off for that.Overall, I do like this cage and can add several items to this.

I purchased the Accsoon SeeMo 4K device not long ago and wanted this optional cage to use with my iPad. The cage is heavy duty and well made, but it does take some effort to install the iPad in the cage. There are 12 tiny screws that must be loosened before you can install your device. There is a convenient Allen wrench included on the back of the Accsoon Power Cage that is held in place by magnets so that you have it with you whenever you need to install/uninstall your iPad. The cage comes with a Power Plate, but this is very different than the Accsoon SeeMo device that you can use in it's place. You can use the power plate to simply attach to the back and use a NP-F550/750/970 battery to power your iPad and/or other accessory such as a light or mic. However, if you also purchase the Accsoon SeeMo device, you can attach it to the back of the cage and hook up a HDMI cable from your camera so you can use the iPad as a monitor. YOU MUST PURCHASE BOTH ITEMS TO USE THE IPAD AS A MONITOR. You will also need your own NP-F battery and a HDMI cable as neither of these items are included with the cage or the SeeMo device.Once you have all of the parts, this is a really nice set up. It provides a large monitor to use with your clients so they can easily see what you are seeing, and it also allows you to livestream your video content to YouTube, Facebook, etc. You do need to download the Accsoon See App on your device as well.It's a great system, but you will need to purchase/or already own additional items.

This PowerCage Pro Ⅱ Case for iPad Pro 12.9inch by Accsoon is very well made.This case is consist of a durable alloy and is a perfect fit. This iPad case is of professional grade quality and is a must have for studio photography but this case also is suitable for on location work. Equipped with a kick stand this cage is easy to use and is versatile. It comes with an NP plate but I also ordered a BP plate as well along with cage handles for optimal flexibility.Overall I find this case to fit well; it's well made, durable and lightweight and I would highly recommend it.

フレームのクオリティは全く問題ありません。私はmonitor+の有料版と併用で使用してます。外部モニターとしてiPad mini 6のLiquid Retinaディスプレイは間違いなく最高峰で、最新OSで無線有線どちらでも表示可能ですし、iPadへデータ転送、iPad版DaVinci Resolveで編集も可能です。他の高額な外部モニターを買うならiPad mini 6を購入する方が汎用性が高いと思います。

Does not have HDMI outlet as the accsoon adapter for iPhone has. Much poorer qualityAnd there is no kickstand ?Product now sourced from Japan is aud$60 cheaper???

The versatile mounting options provided make it effortlessly adaptable to any setup.Moreover, the cost-saving aspect is noteworthy. Investing in a high-quality recorder monitor becomes unnecessary, as you can simply download Monitor+ (compatible with Sony cameras) on your device. This not only streamlines the setup but also proves to be a budget-friendly alternative.

Yes it's on the pricier side BUT if you film a lot and know what you're looking for as far as the basics goes, this item for me checks those boxes. NP Batts to supply power to your ipad so it doesn't die on you (we all leave our ipads running and forget to plug them in). 1/4 20 threads everywhere AND arri style locking pins (that last bit is so important). A tight fitted metal cage to protect you ipad from drops more or less.For what it is, I have ZERO complaints. Money well spent.
