With the correct bracket kit this fits perfectly. It was easy to install, has great build quality, and is comfortable. total from start to finish took under an hour. Works exactly as described. This is a great value if you want a multipurpose back rest and don't want to sped$700+ from BMW.

The thing is bulky af, but if you need back support on your Sporty, this is the solution. I would have given it 4-5 stars if the instructions were more understanding and the fasteners to the back rest weren't tiny knurled bolts. Plus the back rest pad itself is exposed to the weather where the slide adjuster slots are and made of plastic. Plastic? Really?

I have a nightstar 975 special and this is a perfect comfort for the rider. The bike when accelerated pulls you back so you have to hang on tight to the grips, leading to tight grip syndrome which will increase bike wobble. This backrest prevents you from slipping back and you will have a relaxed grip all the time. I'm 5'8" and it works well for me, my brother is 6'1" and it worked for him too. Just make sure you use locktite on every screw. With the vibration of the bike it will become lose.Easy to install and totally worth the money. BTW if you install this then you can only use baggers or some kind of cloth bags as storage. You won't be having the luxury of strapping the backpack to the backrest as it's small.

I love the look of this sissy bar but the fitment and assembly are somewhat lacking. The detachable docking hardware do not fit correctly on the bikes stock dock, there was no instructions for attaching the docking brackets to the sissy bar, when emailing the seller for instructions all I got was a partial page in Mandarin for how to attach it. No other pages.All in all, I would send this back if I wasn't heading out on a trip in 3 days

I added this to a honda 1100t, to attach bags too. I haven't purchased the bags yet but it looks like it is going to work well.This product has a bit of a jiggle in it both at the Pivot joint and another is in the height adjustment.When I'm riding and using it the backrest configuration I do not notice the extra slack and it feelss solid .

The back rest and the brackets are super, nice finish and feels well build. Now some of my complaints... it dint come with instructions, it is very strait forward to put on your bike but there was some nylon washers I wasn't sure where they belonged. Second is the hardware, for the 2 rear mounting bolt on my 06 street glide they were not long enough so I had to get longer ones. Neither are a big deal but worth noting. But at the end of the day its still a great addition.

No instructions and I had to put spacers on the inside of the brackets instead of the outside. Once we got it on its great but one of the bolts that holds the backrest on fell off

Bought for my 2019 Harley Street Bob to use primarily as a driver backrest. Being short I couldn’t find a backrest that came forward enough for me. This was very easy to install. And in the rare times I have a passenger it takes less than 10 seconds to flip the back rest up to the Sissy bar back rest. The addition of the luggage rack is a great feature. It was very easy to install. When I ran into a couple of questions and contacted the seller, they were extremely quick to respond to me with detailed pictures and instructions to help me out. Very good product. Nice quality and extremely comfortable. Just remember if you purchase this to also purchase the corresponding rack mounts that are for your specific bike. Overall, I am very impressed with this back rest. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a driver back rest. With the ease of used to switch it over quickly to a passenger.
