My son is in the marching band at school and I bought this for him to practice at home. Very nice drum for beginners and the sound is crisp and very good.

This is OK. It's got a very tinny sound, even when I add mufflers to the drum head and underside. Tuning doesn't improve it. The snares are really not good. They rattle far too loosely, even when tightened. When the band starts playing, this drum rattles all on its own. It's OK if you want to practice rolls with an actual snare that has some good feedback. But to get it to settle down and sound halfway decent, I have to rest wood blocks on the drum head while I'm playing.Also, the stand is a little too low, and there's not much room for adjustment.I'll be upgrading to some name brand skins soon. After comparing this side by side with a Ludwig snare, I recommend investing in a better product.

For the serious drummer this probably wouldn't make the grade. But for the enthusiastic beginner, at this price, perfect.

Very easy to set up. The stand is a little short for my son but he's pretty tall for his age. The carry bag is a huge bonus for taking to school

My son loves his drum but the stand itself is hard to use and very unstable. I had to buy a separate and more sturdy $40 stand so that kind of made this not as good of a deal. Also, there was no instructions and I’ve never played an instrument in my life so it didn’t help there was nothing to show how to put it together. But he loves it to pieces so I recommend gettting it for me it was cheaper than renting one from the music store.

This snare is amazing! It is very sturdy and good quality it’s great for beginners! It has a great crisp sound and has a great price! It comes assembled all you have to do is set up the stand which is super easy! I do not regret buying this item at all!

Pretty good but i was disappointed in no adjustments able dampener. I am using the backplate of an old pedal as a dampener, taped on.

This ADM Snare drum is AWESOME! I am just starting out playing the drums and although I dont have a lot of experience, I can tell you this drum sounds GREAT! It came with a carrying case for everything, practice sticks and a dampening ring! I couldnt be happier with ADM. I have ordered from them numerous times now and I get nothing but compliments from my musician friends and family memebers! It has a clean, crisp sound and a sharp reaction to strikes. I dont know how else to explain it, except, I love it and it is great. The stand is sturdy and easily closed and opened. I had never even set up a drum set before. I easily set it up and began playing. It got to me quickly and efficiently! I am very happy!

Great value compared to the local music store (around half the price) and I'm completely satisfied with the quality of the drum, stand and practice pad. The only major difference between this and the one at the music store is the aesthetic look of the bag/case that it comes in, which is not as nice looking as the one from the music store, but my son has hauled it back and forth between school and home and it has held together just fine. Totally satisfied!

I bought this drum for my daughter. She loves it, and plays everyday after I installed it. It arrives in a compact package, and was very easy installation. Compared to other drums on amazon, this drum is affordable and with good quality, my daughter love the sound, both when play it gently and strong. The outlook is also very cool, smooth and elegant.
