I'm sorryI should have paid more attention. It comes from a company with 'novelties' in its name. And the word 'costume' might show up somewhere too, but I guess I must have missed it. Please take my word for it - if you're looking for a nice porkpie hat to wear with an expensive suit to go out to a steak house with your wife and eat rare meat and drink expensive whiskey, DO NOT EXPECT THIS TO BE THE ONE. You'll want to order one that costs a little more.Picking this hat up even *sounds* cheap. It reminds me of the ones you find in a dollar store on the day before Halloween. If you're looking for a quick, cheap costume getup hat, proceed. If you're looking for an actual one, keep searching.

I was diagnosed with brain cancer last year so naturally for Halloween I went as Walter White. The hat does need to be broken in a little as it can be a bit uncomfortable at times but I think I just wasn’t used to being bald

I was impressed with how nice this hat actually was. I only needed it for my husband to wear to a Gilmore Girls event, so I did not want to spend a lot of money. The hat is not a cheapy-cheap costume hat. It is not top of the line either; but it was priced right for my one-time event.

Came in a box unlike some of the other reviews said, which I was glad about. Perfect costume hat. I was worried it was going to be too big for my smaller head - I am a 5'2" petite woman - but it fits fine because of the band on the inside of the hat. I think it is worth the money I spent on it.
