AEV Front Differential Cover
AEV designed this heavy duty Differential Cover specifically for the AAM 9.25” front axle found in 2014 & newer Ram 2500/3500 HD trucks.
Manufactured in the USA out of high-strength nodular iron, the 2014 Ram 2500/3500 front differential cover is designed with durability in mind.
The AEV Ram Differential cover features a vehicle specific fluid level verification port, placed at the correct level to meet factory specifications for the front axle, eliminating the need to guess on oil levels or use a dipstick to figure out the correct amount of oil.
Oversized Fill Port
For added convenience, the 2014 Ram 2500/3500 front differential cover utilizes AEV’s oversized fill port located on the top of the cover. This fill port not only allows you to easily add fluid in the field if axle repairs are necessary, but also doubles as an inspection port.
Recessed Hardware
Reinforced bottom edge with recessed hardware.

It's a very strong product. Not hard to install and I like the large access plug in the top.

The cover itself is a nice fit and finish but the hardware itself isn’t adequate. These are hex head bolts for the mounting hardware and the bottom drain plug and the black oxide application is puddles into the heads, making them nearly impossible to install or remove. I emailed AEV customer service, received a reply to send my Amazon order numbers, and nothing since. On the bolts which I scrapped material from to get them installed, they are now showing significant signs of rust. Check all of your new bolts before you remove your old diff cover and replace them as needed. Disappointed by AEVs customer service as I expect better for something that cost this much.

After doing a lot of research on which front differential cover I should go with, I chose the AEV for my 2018 Ram 3500 diesel. This differential cover is super heavy duty, looks awesome and is an amazing upgrade from stock!! Highly recommend
