AEV Rear Differential Cover
Engineered with strength and protection in mind, AEV’s Heavy Duty Differential Cover Features a vehicle specific fluid level verification port, placed at the correct level to meet factory specifications for the rear axle.
Oversized Fill Port
For added convenience, this Differential Cover utilizes AEV’s exclusive oversized fill port located on the top of the cover. This fill port not only allows you to easily add fluid in the field if axle repairs are necessary, but also doubles as an inspection port.
Recessed Hardware
Reinforced bottom edge with recessed hardware and E-coated and powder coated for maximum durability.

The cover itself is a nice fit and finish but the hardware itself isn’t adequate. These are hex head bolts for the mounting hardware and the bottom drain plug and the black oxide application is puddles into the heads, making them nearly impossible to install or remove. I emailed AEV customer service, received a reply to send my Amazon order numbers, and nothing since. On the bolts which I scrapped material from to get them installed, they are now showing significant signs of rust. Check all of your new bolts before you remove your old diff cover and replace them as needed. Disappointed by AEVs customer service as I expect better for something that cost this much.
