I finally got around to installing this. I am not the best person to do installations and I was intimidated. It turns out that it wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be. I installed this on our Camry. I had to make some minor adjustments because I didn’t want to interfere with anything already on the car. The video is pretty good and overall the camera functions as expected. I got it so I could capture some of my daughter’s/grandsons’ and my conversations that we hold in the car sometimes. It would be great for a blogger. I just wanted to capture some memories as we are in the car a lot and we have some of our best “conversations” there on those crazy, long drives. Additionally, we live in an area with lots of wildlife and it’s a way for me to capture that video of animals doing weird stuff sometimes as well as all the “normal” things people use these for. The adhesives appear strong and should hold well. So far so good. I’m old so it takes a bit of time for me to figure things out, but I do it! Looking forward to seeing our “carversations” change as the kids get older.

Installation closely mirrored a previous setup I did in another vehicle, but this model introduces AI-powered monitoring features designed to detect potential hazards while driving. The system continuously observes the driver’s behavior—tracking things like eye closure, yawning, distractions (though how it defines that is unclear), phone use, smoking, and even driver absence, which feels rather puzzling to me. Whether these AI alerts feel intrusive or helpful is a personal choice each user will have to make.The setup includes four cameras delivering excellent video quality, with the front-facing lens offering particularly sharp footage. Each camera’s recordings are organized into separate folders, which is a thoughtful touch. The 360-degree coverage is a clear advantage over many competing products. Night vision performance is notably impressive, providing clear visuals in low-light conditions and supporting round-the-clock monitoring.However, activating continuous recording requires purchasing an additional accessory kit, which seems like a frustrating marketing tactic—advertising a key feature but charging extra to actually use it. Due to this and privacy concerns around the AI monitoring, I opted for a different system for my vehicle.The display screen is fairly compact at 3 inches, smaller than the 10-inch model I eventually chose, but this unit’s lighter weight and compact design make mounting simpler and more flexible. The twist-lock mechanism for the mounting cup is easy to use, though not a major selling point for me.Documentation is well done—clear, easy to read, and accompanied by helpful illustrations, which is always appreciated. The user interface felt somewhat clunky and unintuitive at first, but with time and familiarity, that improved.The kit includes an SD card (a nice bonus), and although it officially supports cards up to 128GB, I tested a 512GB card without issue. Formatting took a moment, but the system recognized and fully utilized the larger capacity.This setup is ideal for everyday drivers but especially valuable for professionals who rely heavily on their vehicles—like delivery or long-haul drivers—where having detailed footage could be crucial for insurance or legal matters.There’s an associated app for video downloads and settings, but I personally avoid it due to privacy concerns, particularly since GPS tracking is optional but available. For those comfortable with app use, it makes transferring footage easier without removing the SD card.Overall, despite my reservations about data privacy and the additional cost for full features, this system performs excellently. Video clarity is top-notch, and the comprehensive camera coverage is a standout. The software could be smoother, but it functions well enough.

Very high quality dash cam. I love the 4 cameras and the video quality is great. It is pretty easy to set up and connect to the phone app. Installing the cam is straight forward and I perfer the tape instead of a suction cup.The customer service is exceptional. I got an email response in 12 hours and a follow-up to see if everything was ok.Highly recommend this product.
