These translation earbuds were a hit for my niece's birthday! She just turned 16 and has been taking Spanish for two years in school, so I thought these would be a fun and practical gift for her. I loved how easy they were to get set up. My niece downloaded the app, connected them to the Bluetooth on her phone. She immediately tried the Spanish translation with her mom, who speaks quite a bit of Spanish, and it was so much fun to watch. The "two-way communication" aspect is fantastic for someone learning a language. It encourages her to try speaking and then hear the correct pronunciation and translation back. She was particularly impressed with the "silent mode" and "headphone mode" for different scenarios. I can see these being incredibly useful not just for her Spanish class, but also if she ever travels abroad. She can use them for music, which of course, is essential for a teenager, and the hands-free calls are perfect for her busy schedule. The ergonomic design seems to be working well for her; she's pretty active with sports and they stay put. No complaints about discomfort, which is always a relief. I think these earbuds are more than just a novelty. For a young lady actively learning a new language, they're a phenomenal tool to break down barriers and build confidence. Plus, they're just plain cool! Definitely a successful birthday gift. You don't need to be close to the speaker for the earbuds to pick up the correct words.Sidenote: They don't translate curse words...yes my brother tried it. (Eye roll!)

Same that I can’t give zero stars.What a piece of garbage, not sure how or why it has such good reviews. This is a scam and waste of time.No activation code provided in two different boxes ordered. Numerous emails to customer support but no response in the last two weeks. Don’t waste your time with this product.

It is very easy to set up, with instructions in both English and Chinese. The headphone is very comfortable putting on the ear. There are also multiple translation options, including direct translation and conversion, etc., which helps with different use cases. Great value for money as well!
