This worked excellent on my 1990 Johnson GT 150. The voltage used to fluctuate all over the place between 12.2 volts (not charging) and 17.9 volts (overcharging). Now it runs at a constant 14.4 volts. I noticed that two of the wires are the same color (solid yellow) whereas the factory ones are different colors but it doesn’t appear that it matters if you switch them around during installation.
