I was looking for a bit that had a few different components. I was specifically looking for copper and sweet iron. Was looking for a western dee. Would prefer it to be contoured to alleviate some of the nutcracker action that single jointed snaffles produce. I also wanted something that looked nice. Someone pointed me to the bit that an Aussie horse trainer (will let you guess which one) sells on their website. Their bit was exactly what I was looking for. I looked at the costs ($60+ for the clinician's bit) and saw that they had HUNDREDS of this bit in stock. I pondered who was supplying them, as they probably aren't making it just for one person. I looked on Amazon and, while it may not be the same, this bit has everything the clinician's bit offered at half the cost. Only major difference was this one had antique brown dee rings, which I am fine with. It's sweet iron, so it's going to rust. Now it will all match. Bit is solid, well made, and it's what my horse does well with.
