I thought I would have more leverage with the bumper and rowels on the side, but it didn’t work like I imagined it would. The rowels are also very sharp, and I couldn’t get away with not cutting my horse. I’ve used regular spurs for 2 years and have never had that problem until these.

They cut the horses. The rowels are very thin. Would not recommend these.
