Having bought this as a small gift, I wasn’t expecting it to be very effective (due to the size of the bowl and the price).I went on to buy this gift for others as I loved this product so much - however, when it was out of stock, I made the mistake of assuming all singing bowls had the same tone or quality. I was wrong. I had to send three back straight the way, and was bitterly disappointed.This version of the singing bowl really hums when tapped. The reverberation can be felt across the room by others and gives a beautiful sensation that is both calming and inspiring. I find myself drawn to giving the bowl one gentle tap each morning on this bowl and once before bed. The vibration goes right through to the soul and clears the atmosphere somehow.We have not used it for it’s original purpose - rolling the wand around the rim after being struck - the sound does last a long time when doing this - to create the singing used for meditation. I just find it more relaxing to tap the side of the bowl, than to have to fiddle about trying to maintain the sound by rotating the wrist awkwardly around the bowl.

Ero un pò scettico per via di alcune recensioni negative, ma devo dire che la mia campana (misura 4.5) è davvero bella..nessun difetto sul metallo e verniciata bene...bellissima da vedere e da suonare. Qualcuno diceva che non fossero accordate, ma la mia suona a 410hz...per 20 euro è davvero un regalo.

Bell rings and sings. But when singing, pitch is pretty high. It irritates my ears when I listen longer than a few seconds, so it doesn’t quite have the calming effect I wanted.The patterns have several obvious blemishes.It is ok, but would not recommend for gift for the reasons mentioned above.
