Installed this in my shed, fit perfectly and has now given me an option for power when I need it.Installation was simple (I have a resin shed). I drew a 1-1/2" circle and drilled holes all the way around. The included gasket sealed the plug against the shed for a weather proof connection. It supports up to a 20 amp connection but I'm only using it for my Ryobi chargers.

We had a different use other than RVs or Campervans. We installed it on our small storage shed to run the lights and a power outlet. We don't go out to that shed very often so It wasn't worth paying an electrician to trench a dedicated power line to the shed. Hubby just unrolls an extension cord when he needs to work out there. The power inlet lets him keep the door closed so the bugs don't get in. The plug has a rubber gasket that seals the inlet firmly to the tin. The little rubber flap seals the inlet when the plug is not in use. The inlet is also big enough to fit our extension cord that has a larger than normal plug. The wire is 12 AWG and it has nice thick insulation. This inlet is priced very competitively considering the high quality of manufacturing.

This AC input is ideal for adding a port to connect a battery maintainer to mains power without having to raise a hood or open panels. The rubber seal will keep water and debris out. It comes with mounting screws.I would recommend this port.

We got this to run power to our building. It installed very easily. You just drill the hole, use the provided screws to attach it to the surface and you are done. It has a rubber flap cover to protect against the elements as well. Very pleased with this item.

These little plug extenders can certainly come in handy on project builds. This style is excellent for anything you might want to run a drop cord to, like a battery charger, or in my case, an outdoor chicken coop that I have set up to be somewhat mobile. I added an auto door and a light with timer, so this makes for a smooth exterior connection for me where I can simply plug and unplug a drop cord as I need to, without having to open the coop or enter it to do so. Lots of great uses for this type of cord.

I like that this has 12 ga copper conductors. It should truly give you 15 amps of safe power. Good build quality and good waterproof plug when not in use. This will be a feed-through on a trailer as a backup to re-charge solar batteries when on generator or shore connections. Should work out perfectly.

I recently added a portable AC unit to my school bus RV conversion and wanted to put that on it's own circuit. This was a quick and easy way to add a thru-wall connection. You'll need to drill a 2" hole in the wall. The screws they provide for attachment are absolutely terrible. Using a 1/8" pilot I got two of them to seat but the third stripped the head immediately. It's not a standard phillips size - I'd say it like a metric #2 if such a thing existed. I couldn't find a bit that fit properly.Once installed it worked great. Most of my extension cords have big replacement ends on them and even those fit.

These work great especially for sending power into something, like from a vehicle or generator into a house or storage area, and to do it safely! I don't think the product deserves to lose a star for inaccurate description, but remember there is a rating drop for truly continuous load. For full continuous load, this would be derated to 16A max, you should never draw the full amps on a rated wire for continuous load. Otherwise, it was easy to install and works well!
