I had an xbox that failed due to bad caps. The process of changing them out was staright forward and the xbox is back up and running.

I've got my old original Xbox 1.6 (2005) and it had developed a glitchy video display rendering it unusable. Couldn't get it to show up at all on composite cables, only audio. Picked up an HDMI converter and got audio and a staticy video. Read up and found that the capacitors can go bad over time. Sure enough, I had 3 bulging capacitors near the CPU that folks said were video related. I replaced all 3 today with my very mediocre soldering skills and it's running like a champ. We've been playing non-stop for the last 5 hours! These did the trick and are working perfectly! Plus, with a 20 pack I've got enough left over to help out any of my friends who still have their OG Xboxes and are running into similar issues.

Cheep but effective! Got my old celeron 25yr old PC up and running. Time will tell if they last. they say CHONG on them I've used them on other motherboards I expect 4-5 years instead of 7 but they were cheeeeep.

Buyer beware, these are NOT Sanyo. The product image shows Sanyo capacitors, which are known to the world to be top tier quality parts made in Japan. The items being sold are actually Chong capacitors known to be low end parts that tend to not meet, even their own printed specs. Look on you tube and you will find many people showing Chong caps failing catastrophically. Chong caps are not even made in the same country as the caps shown in the image. I believe this to be intentional customer deception..

There were 5 bulging capacitors on my sons old xbox (he collects old consoles). So we took it apart and found the numbers on the factory capacitors and matched them up with these. Unsoldered the old and resoldered the new! And it works great! Hurray!

I needed this specific capacitor in my integrated circuit board. I wondered if they would work. Voila, they worked perfectly with no issue. I do not have a longevity determination yet, so I will update this review if they do not last in the long term. If you do not see an update, check the date of this review and know that they are still working.

Low cost, fast shipping. I used the product to fix a broken XBOX (original). Appears to work as advertised. Machine finally powers on so I troubleshoot the next issue. No issues with the installation and soldering. Didn’t need them all so I have extras for the future.I haven’t had the machine on for an extended period because I still need to fix the optical drive, so time will tell if these will expand / leak like the OEM parts.

Although it says for LCD or monitor repair in the description, I used these to fix a couple of original Xbox consoles because the specs were the same. I soldered these new ones in there and now my consoles are working great again!
