This is a great 12 oz. glass shaker. I was just supposed to get the shaker, but they sent a lid too....so thank you. I have seen that some people complain about the lids not staying on the shakers. They probably won't if you are using a monkey wrench to put them on and strip them out. I have four of these and if you take a few seconds to make sure the lid is in the "groove" on the shaker, they go on with no problem and DO NOT fall off.

As was mentioned by another reviewer, I received a top along with the shaker jar. This caused a slight problem, as I had ordered a top to go with this jar and have wound up with two tops. Now I have the pleasure of spending money and time returning the extra top.So if you're planning on ordering this jar and a top separately, order the jar first. Then wait until the jar arrives to verify whether you need to order a top.
